SilencerCo at SHOT Show 2024
Stephanie Kimmell
SHOT Show 2024 marked a milestone as a record-breaking event with an impressive attendance of over 55,000 people. As the largest convention in North America dedicated to the Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor, and Tactical industries, the convention brings brings together manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors for meaningful conversations and collaborations.
SilencerCo played an active part this year in several ways. Not only did SilencerCo sponsor the SHOT Bridge, which connects the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, they also partnered with multiple companies across the show for enhanced product displays.
Without a doubt, SHOT Show 2024 was a huge success. Here’s a look at what SilencerCo brought to the table this year, as well as a tour of the booths that incorporated SilencerCo suppressors into their displays.

New Suppressors!
The big news at the SilencerCo booth was the launch of three new suppressors. The new models are an answer to the call for a titanium 9mm suppressor and additional options for low back pressure suppressors.
“When we saw the customer excitement surrounding our recently released Scythe-Ti and Velos LBP 5.56, we knew we needed to expand these product lines,” said SilencerCo VP of Marketing, Mike Aland. “The Spectre 9, Velos 5.56 K, and Velos LBP 7.62 are all part of our efforts to create premium suppressors that are exactly what the customer is asking for.”
Spectre 9
The Spectre 9 is the next evolution in SilencerCo’s collection of titanium suppressors. It’s completely constructed from titanium and designed for pistol and subgun platforms.

New Additions to the Velos LBP Family
The Velos 5.56 K and Velos LBP 7.62 are variations of SilencerCo’s first low back pressure silencer, the Velos 5.56 LBP.
The suppressors in the Velos LBP Series are constructed with 3D printed inconel 625 cores, fully welded to 17-4 stainless steel front and rear modules. One of the benefits to this design is that if there is a baffle strike or other issues that needs to be warrantied, the part that needs attention can be removed from the sleeve for service, and the serial number on the sleeve stays intact throughout the process.
All models in the Velos LBP series are compatible with SilencerCo’s Charlie accessories and have no barrel length restrictions.
Velos 5.56K
The Velos K is a shorter version of the original Velos at just 4.76 inches. It still provides the shooter with the benefits of reduced gas blowback during live fire, but in a more compact and maneuverable package.
The Velos 5.56K ships with an ASR Mount, an ASR Closed-Tine Flash Hider, an Internal Charlie Flash Hider Front Cap in .223, a basic tool, and a Charlie tool

- Low back pressure technology reduces gas blowback.
- MSRP of $1,164
Velos LBP 7.62
The Velos 7.62 will accommodate calibers up to .300 RUM for compatibility with more host firearms.
