Omega 300, Omega 36M, Hybrid 46, Hybrid 46M, Harvester Evo suppressors manufactured between June 1 – October 9, 2023.

SilencerCo has discovered a welding defect on certain suppressors, posing a safety threat to users. Weld defects may cause catastrophic failure, creating a significant safety issue. Immediately discontinue using potentially affected suppressors until the serial number has been verified as not subject to the recall.

To register for the recall please visit https://silencerco.com/recall-checker/ or call SilencerCo Customer Service at 801-417-5384. Following registration, SilencerCo will work with customers to coordinate the return of their suppressors and implement the safety improvements. SilencerCo will cover all shipping and handling costs and will prioritize these suppressors above all other warranty requests with a quick turnaround time.

If the suppressor is still on a Form 3, your SOT dealer will have to submit their paperwork since it’s still on their books. We can get the Recall RMA from your dealer and the suppressor can be repaired while you are still waiting on your Form 4. This repair can be done without disturbing any “form” status.

If you have a suppressor with a serial number in the affected range, please submit a form online at https://silencerco.com/recall-checker/ or call SilencerCo Customer Service at 801-417-5384 to register your product for the recall as soon as possible. Following registration, we will issue you a return label to ship it back to us at no cost to you. We will need a printed copy of your Form 4 included in the box. If the suppressor is still on a Form 3, your SOT dealer must register and return the product since it’s still on their books.

If you have any of the affected suppressors in your inventory please return them to SilencerCo immediately so we can efficiently repair them. To begin the return process on your affected suppressor inventory, email a complete list to [email protected]. We will work with you to coordinate the return of your suppressor(s) and implement the safety improvements. 

We also need you to send us a list of any customers who have purchased these affected suppressors, and either have a completed Form 4 or have a Form 4 in process.

STOP THE USE/SALE OF AFFECTED SUPPRESSORS IMMEDIATELY.

We have detected that a limited number of SilencerCo suppressors are subject to a safety recall. We urgently request your help to keep customers safe. Please read the recall requirements below and follow these steps so we can obtain and repair all affected suppressors as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding.

AFFECTED PRODUCTSOMEGA 300, OMEGA 36M, HYBRID 46, HYBRID 46M and HARVESTER EVO manufactured between June 1, 2023, through October 9, 2023. Please use the checker above to confirm. 

 

What You Must Do:

1. IMMEDIATELY STOP THE SALE/ USE of Omega 300, Omega 36M, Hybrid 46, Harvester EVO, and Hybrid 46M suppressors.

2. IMMEDIATELY CHECK inventory bought and sold since June 1, 2023. You can do this in one of three ways:

  • Use the serial checker above to run a fast online serial number check for the silencers you have in your inventory or have sold since June 1, 2023
  • Email [email protected] with the serial numbers for the silencers you have in your inventory or have sold since June 1, 2023.
  • Call 801.417.5384 to have a SilencerCo representative conduct the serial number check while you are on the phone for the silencers you have in your inventory or have sold since June 1, 2023.

When contacting SilencerCo, please have the serial numbers for the affected silencers available for reference.

3. IMMEDIATELY EMAIL SILENCERCO a complete list of customers to whom you have shipped a recalled suppressor and include the following information: 

  • Name, address, telephone number, email
  • Serial numbers by customer

Email to [email protected]. We will confirm your compliance with this requirement as soon as possible. 

After completing the steps above, SilencerCo will immediately contact you for the return of all suppressors in your possession subject to the recall. SilencerCo will separately contact each customer you identify. SilencerCo will cover all of the shipping costs for the return and will repair your inventory as quickly as possible.
