The Omega 36M is a mighty, modular, multi-caliber suppressor…a multi-tool Hiram Percy Maxim would admire. Read on and we will explain.
Omega 36M Multi-Caliber Suppressor
A Multi-Tool Can for Many Uses
The Omega 36M is a multi-caliber rated, modular design suppressor envisioned and realized as a “multi-tool of suppressors”. Although it’s not the only multi-caliber silencer out there, it is the most popular and highest rated one.
That’s not sensational self-promotion, that’s the estimation provided by a slew of reviewers and publications. Read on and see.
Back piece: The 36M’s rear core contains Cobalt 6 and Inconel baffles. Those provide unmatched wear resistance to high heat and sustained/repeated firing.
Front piece: The 36M’s front piece consists of a unique, lightweight 17-4 baffle design. This is intended to cut weight without sacrificing wear resistance.
The tube: The 36M’s outer tube is made of titanium. A lock-ring prevents tube loosening and reduced weight (seeing a theme here?).
Nobody wants an end-heavy weapon that makes shooting a new Cross-Fit exercise.
It’s then finished with a black Cerakote for additional durability.
The Omega 36M is rated down to 10” barrels for 223 Remington/5.56mm NATO, 16” barrels for 308 Winchester/7.62mm NATO, and 20” barrels for 300 Win Mag and 338 Lapua Mag.
